things happen for a reason

there is this girl from work who just lost her loved one recently.. she is going through a tough time and i can feel her pain.
and i couldnt help but remember those times when i was in that situation myself..
i think its the hardest and most painful situation that anyone would be into..

but things happen for a reason.

you get to learn and be a better person along the way.
its hard for someone who is in the middle of pain to think of it this way, but time will come that they will.

like me.

by the way when i say lost, there could be a lot of meanings...
